BIO:

Vic has 40 years Judo experience, 34 of these as a coach having achieved the BJA Level 3 Senior Club Coach award. Vic is currently studying to become an assessor for Sport Coach UK, this will enable him to deliver Coaching Courses for the British Judo Association. Vic served 30 years in the London Fire Service before recently taking voluntary retirement. Vic has used this spare time to graduate a BA (Hons) in Post 16 Education & Training. He also holds Membership with the Institute for Learning (MIfL) and Association of First Aiders (AoFA). Vic has also completed Diplomas in Sports Nutrition and Psychology. Vic has coached many different students from novice through to achieving their dan grades and also coaching a special needs player to become European Champion. Vic was the Founder of Ruislip Gardens Judo Club which is now known as 'Willow Heart Judo Club' a very successful Club based at the new Uxbridge Lido Complex. Vic was a runner-up at the 'London Sports Awards 2005' for his services to Special Needs Judo.
